Are you ready?!?!

This week is move up week as well as a short week because of July 1st being a HOLIDAY!
So there are lots of little things we can do to prepare: 

1. Vocabulary Unit 12 - Exercise Practice #1 & Practice #2. If you would like it to be graded and see the answers please fill out the following forms. I will send the results to you tomorrow during the break.  Practice #1 Form & Practice #2 Form. 
2. Study your verbs in the simple past and past participle. Here's the Smrt Irregular Verb list. You'll need to know the verbs this week for what we are going to see. 
3. SPEAKING TEST - I have shared the speaking test with you. It is due on WEDNESDAY, June 29 by 5:00 PM. You can either upload the video on your Smrt page or  you can email me the file. 
4. Units 9 - 12 Test will be on THURSDAY at 10:20, if you are not here for the first part of class you WILL NOT be able to do the test. Click here for the STUDY GUIDE.

HOMEWORK:

1. Do Grammar 11-2 Exercise -- please answer the questions 1 & 2 in the form, so I can send the answers back to you. We will go over 3 & 4 in class. THIS IS THE FORM for questions 1 & 2. I will share the answers with you Monday during the break, please have them sent to me before then. Thanks. 
2. Extra practice for Direct & Indirect Questions can be found HERE. 
3. Remember that next THURSDAY is the move up exam. To help you study, I have a list of different links that you can go to and do different activities there. Study Guide link.

1. Grammar 11-1 Exercise: Number 1 F - T & Number 2 G - O. We will go over the answers tomorrow in class. 
2. Next week is move up week and we will have the exam on THURSDAY June 29th. Here is a link with different exercises that can help you study. Remember to look at all the tabs on the bottom. (Note: the link will be updated today after 9 pm. If you can't wait, you can visit April 6th on my blog and look for the pages there.) 
3. July 1st is CANADA DAY and we have no classes. Go out and celebrate being in Canada.

Unit 10 "Celebrity"

For homework: 

1. You can practice spelling of words by doing the UNIT 10 "CELEBRITY" search a word puzzle. Make a copy and look for the words. 
2. Do vocabulary exercise - Practice #2
3. Be prepared to answer the question: "Would you like to be a politician, athlete, a movie star or a musician? Why?"
4. There will be a vocabulary quiz this week, so be prepared!
